Recognizing the importance of DCTC to Rosemount and our region

On September 8, 2023, I attended a panel discussion at Dakota County Technical College featuring student leaders and staff with several national officials. Their discussion emphasized the importance of career and technical education.

Afterward, I received a tour of DCTC, including their HVAC, Electric Construction, and Electric Line program areas. I was struck at the vital role that DCTC plays in Rosemount, not only as a post-secondary option for our kids and adults alike, but as an attraction to business and industry. Businesses know they can find a qualified labor base right here in our hometown.
