Supporting parks and athletic fields for our youth

On October 2, 2023, we celebrated with our Parks & Recreation Commission at the dedication of the new park shelter & trailhead building at the Flint Hills Recreational Complex. This park features some of the premier soccer/lacrosse fields in our community, making it an important resource for our families and kids.

The park got its name when, in 2007, Flint Hills Resources donated this land to the City of Rosemount with the stipulation that it would be used for recreational purposes. In 2013, the first phase of the development of the site began. Today, park features a unique musical playground area and full-size soccer/lacrosse fields, and will be a link in the Regional Trail running from Rosemount to the Mississippi River.
